I'm just wondering whether other schools use SIMS in the same way as us...

Staff leavers kept in SIMS as current staff to keep their timetable in SIMS, so that it can be assigned to cover. Until they have permanent replacements then we can't delete the old teachers apparently.

Given that we have a seemingly constant stream of staff leaving and a slightly less constant stream of new staff joining, our SIMS staff database will never actually be up to date!

Is there a better way to do this?
