Due to pc upgrade i have had to reinstall Sims.net. I have relaxed security on c:drive to the normal Sims folders and files. If when logged on as a staff user and go to
'Sims attendance Module >Process>OMR Entry> Print OMR registration sheet'
I cannot print, it comes up with the following error Unexpected error in Sims Attendance Module: '17/12/07 0 is not a valid date'. If i try and print a PM register the error is 17/12/07 1 is not a valid date' The staff user can print a OMR absence sheet via Process>OMR Entry> print OMR Abscence sheet which seem sodd.
But if log on as a administrator and go through the same process it prints fine. This makes me think its the security on the local C:drive but i can think of any other file/ location i need to change. I have searched the Capita forum and come up with nothig relating to it.
I have checked all the regional and language settings on the pc ans well as the users profile and they are set to UK.

Did you use simsperm to set the permissions and i assume they had access to it before?

NO i did not use the simsperm, and yes they could access it before. I have checked what simsperm does and have set the same permissons via File System in GPO.

Just a shot in the dark but have you tried the old reinstall sims.. ie uninstall sims infrastructure, delete/rename sims dir and run simsinst. I've had sims erros before that seem to be permissions related and turned out to be software error.
i think ive said reinstall sims several times on edugeek... its my 'Have you tried turning it off and on again' for sims
