[SIMS] Print barcode label?
I don't need detail, as I can task our "Guru" for that, but does anyone know if SIMS could be persuaded to print a name label with a pupils exam number in plain text and as a barcode? I've been asked to help with scoring for cross country matched (think about 200 runners) and we're looking at barcodes to speed the process.
I've already got a fairly tortuous Excel workbook for calculating the scores and printing results!

We had a barcode label report for our library when the library system couldn't manage it.
You need to have the font installed of course, i think the free 3 of 39 or something it's called.
Then just whack it in the template with appropriate markers, which i think are an asterisk either side : *<exNo>*

You can encode anything if you export it to a report and use the barcode font for output. Some fonts will even print the orginal text underneath so you have both.
