    Timetable in small school

I have a small PRU that would like to start using timetables. They would rather not go down the Nova road but something that would work with SIMS.

    Anyone know of anything?

You could try Tiger Timetabling - we don't use SIMS, so I'm not sure what its SIMS support is like.

I use Excel. Although there's obviously no auto scheduler I haven't found a product that gives me an overview of the whole school for a week on one screen, which just suits my mental model. It's basically a pegboard with validation and conditional formatting to flag up clashes and suchlike. For a small school (we're a 700 student secondary) it may be all you need.

They currently use a spreadsheet and wanted to move on. But thanks.
