Surely it has to reflect the makeup ( ) of the market and there are fewer female techs. Even so the validity shouldn't be in question unless you're arguing gender has an indirect effect on their opinion
If only a small percentage of females respond to the questionnaire, clearly this would run the risk of a type two error in the analysis. However without knowing the gender of the people answering the questions, how do we know we have a sufficient number of a certain gender without asking the question?
