Hopefully, within the next few weeks we're rolling out a classroom side MIS in our school. I've been charged with looking at best practice and the policies and expectations placed upon the teaching staff about its use and security. I've done the usual. Ask at local schools, contact friends in the jobs etc, but i'm finding very little. Some of the ideas cross over with the assessment and reporting policy, and attendance (recording) policy.
Does anyone out there have a good set of policies, or can contribute ideas so i can formulate my own.
I want to be able to write simple but effective policies which would oblige staff to record attendance within the MIS within 10 mins of the start of the lessons etc. The sort of thing that English State schools have in place as a matter of basic expectations of a class teacher.
