Restriction to Marks N / L in registers

    Hi

I need to restrict all users of SIMs to the following marks for registration purposes

    N / L

Apart from our Attendance Officer, is this possible?

    Thanks

No it's a legal statutory thing.
Even on our independent version we couldn't remove but you can edit the descriptions from setup which would act as a reminder ..?
You'll have to do analysis by code reports and slap some wrists.

In sims: Tools, Setups, Attendance setup, Codes, Maintain Codes.....(not everyone will have access here)
Double Click each one, removing the tick from Basic, EXCEPT for present marks and L and U. Then in a Register these will be only ones possible to add. Any blank ones where the dash remains should automatically be given the N code when saving the Register. This is adequate for most Teachers and other staff fill in the rest?
Attendance Officer if provided with correct Permissions, should be OK to add all/any codes

+1 - forgot you can hide them without removing them which is what we wanted to do.
