We use a mix of Nova-T 4 and T6 for timetabling (why we are on 2 versions I'll never know, but that's for another day)
Anyway, what I'm interested in doing is exporting timetable info from Nova into our VLE (moodle), i think all I need is a flat file like a csv but cant find the option.
Is there any easy way of doing this, if any?

It's not pretty, but in T-4 if you call up a timetable, you can then use the copy to clipboard function that allows you to choose which fields to send in, and what format i.e. fixed width, csv etc.
i think you can do the same with a large curriculum table, but you'd need to parse it somehow.
never used T-6....yet. it might have a slightly more elegant solution.

Correct me if I'm wrong but T6 is Modeling & Construction (structure of the timetable) and T4 does the scheduling. So you need to use both (I think).

TeddyKGB I don't know the answer but I think you'd get a faster response on SupportNet. We do have IMS links built into SIMS which can be used to update a VLE with class memberships, teachers etc. I know that some Moodle users have been working on a link but don't know how far they have got.
The only thing that you need direct access to NOVA-T4 for now is Cover although .net does call some bits of T4 to print timetables.

*faints* - Thanks anyway, I suspected as much :?
it does indeed seem you can't lift timetable info from Nova, which is a shame
Thanks anyway.

Hmmm. If only there was some sort of SIMS .net API or SDK we could tap into to access whatever school information we wanted... :-k
