Batch Import Staff Email Addresses
We're trialling AlfiSoft, and aong the data this system needs from SIMS is staff email addresses which we don't store in SIMS.
Does anyone know if this can be batch imported, or do we have to add them one by one?
We're using SIMS 7.114

Funny, just had someone else ask about doing the same thing - SIMS Bulk Import - Download: SIMS Bulk Import - 126.96.36.199 Preview
I wrote tool to do it. It uses the SIMS Business Objects to import, so you need to have SIMS Applications installed for it to work.

@matt40k Does this tool still work with the latest SIMS? It just keeps prompting me for the database login.

Not sure, I'll test it tonight. I assume your running 1.7.22 and SIMS is working on workstation ok?

That is correct. I've tried servername\SIMS2008 and also just servername then the database name SIMS both times.

Just tested it and it's working ok.
SIMS .net - Pulsar.exe - 188.8.131.52
SIMS Bulk Import - SIMSBulkImport.exe - 184.108.40.206
Send me the log file if your still having trouble.

I found that if you are using a redirected connect.ini, it doesn't work. Copy the contents from the remote connect.ini to the local one in the SIMS.net directory and it works.
On a separate note, I have found that it crashes at around 20 records on my Windows 8 machines. Works fine on XP tho..

I suspect it's just not reporting back to the UI correctly, if you open the logs you should still see it processing the import. Failing that, could you send me the logs
