    Sims Workstation On Server?

    Hi,

    We need to reinstall SIMS workstation on our SIMS server. I assume its just the usual install asif it was a client machine?

    That is right. For years we had the client on all school servers.

    Yup, just deploy it in SOLUS. You can also clean the old install right off, and start again by selecting the server as a target if it's corrupted/not working somehow.

    SIMSInst.exe from the Setups folder is all you need.

    Are there any old Connect.inis or Sims.inis floating around?

    I mean it fails to run. Installs ok but get this when i try to run it.

    That looks like it may be a .NET problem - is it fully patched etc?
