    Adding new User to SIMS error = Discover related?

    Hi;

    My data manager that is starting creating new users today gets the following error: (screenshot attached)

    We have moved over to a new SIMS server in July, so this seems to be pointing to an old server for a usergroup...where could I modify this?

    Hi,

    It looks like a previous account was using an "active directory" account. Have a search through the sims users and if that's the case, change the user ID and you shouldn't get the error message.

    I had a different issue today when reactivating old staff and this problem is listed on SupportNet but I forget the solution. I think it was something like remove the AD linked username by unticking active or something like that.

    Yes, it turned out I had to go to SIMS, system manager and search for the service accounts above, ensure login accounts exist for the new server for say Discover and inTouch, then disable the old server service accounts.
