Hi
This week I took the plunge and finally decided to migrate SIMS/FMS to SQL2005. This was not a decision I took lightly, as every other upgrade I've ever done generally ends with an ambigious error code and a call to CAPITA.
But all seemed(?) to go ok, I now have SIMS 7.97 and FMS 6.91 running on SQL 2005. I have removed FMS 6.85/Sybase and SQL2000. (I do now get 'Failure Audits' in the application log though, but that's normal apparently!)
But just as I thought i'd got away with it all, I get a 'Connection Failed: Reason 0' error when using SOLUS v2.11 to check for FMS upgrades.
I know the password is correct for FMS as I can log into it, but just not through SOLUS to check for upgrades.
Any ideas?
Andrew

2.11 doesn't work with fms 2005, not that there is anything to update yet. It does the same here

Hi
Thanks for that. Good to know somebody else has come across this.
I didn't think there would be anything to update, but I was just checking that everything worked, which er, it doesn't quite yet.
Cheers.
