    Academic Promotion: Pointless?

Does anyone find this routine to be somewhat unreliable? I am trying to promote classes from one year into another and set up promotion far up the list of schemes. Then I select a promotion path for schemes further down the year group's list and ones further up the list become unlinked. Why is it doing this?

I had this last year and eventually gave up after much swearing and ticked the boxes manually.

Works really well for us here and saves oodles of time. Use it mainly for 10 into 11 and IB1 into IB2 , but also for quite a lot of primary classes.

It kept doing it so I just went into Curriculum Assignment by Scheme, sorted by last year's group and shift+clicked to assign. Took minutes.
