Wrong gradeset attached to recurring aspect

Help! I've just created 40+ new templates and I've realised that the wrong gradeset is attached to one recurring aspect. I've tried to reallocate the correct gradeset to the aspect but of course it is shouting at me that this now makes all previous grades invalid..... please help as I have various formulae in each template and I REALLY don't want to do it all again?!

    Thanks!

Aha worked it out - need to add the new gradeset equivalences to the old gradeset. Messy but it works. Lesson learnt!!

Not sure if this is how you did it in the end, but the trick is to create a new version of the gradeset. Open up the gradeset itself (Focus > Assessment > gradeset), then you'll see a little box for versions with date ranges attached. Select "New" and you'll be able to enter grades as though it were a totally new gradeset without affecting any historical data (the old data will be linked to the version of the gradeset that falls within the same date range as the result date)

EDIT: should have said, do bear in mind this will affect ALL aspects using that gradeset so it's only really a solution if the problem is with the grades/points
