    Server 2012?

    Hi

Does anyone know what the current SIMS supported Windows and SQL versions are?

I'm planning a new SQL Server (not docstorage or SOLUS thats a different box)

    Can I use SQL 2012?
Can I user Windows Server 2012?

I'm doing failover clustering but I've already read capita regard that as fine as they just see a SQL box regardless of whether its Clustered or not.

hmm my current SQL Server is 2008 R2,

I presume i will have to upgrade that to 2012 before I detach the databases and reattach on the new server

Just watch out that Discover is now working with SQL 2012. It wasn't as of the Spring 2013 release and our SIMS guys had to put a separate SQL 2008 R2 express instance on the SIMS server to get it to run

It was scheduled to be supported with Spring 2013. That was pushed back to Summer 2013 but may have been pushed back again. Worth a check!
