    SIMS Report Issue

    Hey there,

    I have a school running SIMS and Office 2010. When the HT tries to run a Assessment/Individual Report in SIMS all we get is the following error "Unable to download the Base Template file. Please close the application and then open it again". Needless to say we have done that, but all we get is the same error again and again........

    I've tried logging in to the machine as Admin, but no dice...

    Anybody on here seen this error and managed a workaround for it ?

    Any help greatly received.....

    Have you got a Capita Supportnet account, it's a known issue, you'll need the patch below

    KB111517 - Cannot Locate Base Template

    This can effect either Profiles 7 or Assessment Manager 7

    Advice If you are receiving this error please contact your support team and request Patch 14879.


    The patch restores the Base Template in the DOCStorage folder.


    If you are experiencing the error: Unable to download the student template file. Then this may be due to incorrect pathing or multiple instances of a DOCStorage folder please see KB68682 for more details.

    Still waiting for my Support Net account to be created, filled it all in just not back yet. Still have the issue and the HT is getting a little tetchy..any other way of getting the Patch ?

    contact your support team - now you know the details as posted by Greg you can request it directly, no need for SupportNet.
