checking what patches have been installed

as per the title, the lady who deals with the processing of data to county wants to know if a correcting patch has been applied for FSM i think the patch number is 16758
is there a button or report that i can use to show the applied patch information.

In SIMS when you run a patch it updates a table in the DB.
When you run it again it should tell you that it has already been applied, unless it's one of the few that can be applied repeatedly.
I'm pretty sure it's the same for FMS.
So, you could just try to run it and usually it reports and says this patch - DB update 3.6-3.7 can be applied.
A safer way is to look at that table.
I have an SQL script that reports on the table in SIMS. Never needed it for FMS.

hmmmm ok running scripts on the actual table seems a long winded but might be my only option...

SHimmer45 was talking about FSM - presumably Free School Meals not FMS Vik. Can't remember what that patch did though.

Details below, but as you will see, you should not need to worry about whether that patch is installed, if your SIMS is up to date.

    Notes
SIMS .net | Routines | Data In | CTF | Import CTF
Imported CTF file containing FSM history but data not importing
    Free School Meals
    FSM
    Advice
Generic patch 16758 is available, which will be included in Spring 2012 release of SIMS .net.

I have a script that I downloaded that you run using DBDiagnose.exe which will tell you which patches have been applied to the database. There is also a utility under user posts (870) on Capiat's web site which does a similar thing.

Are you OK with SQL queries? If so, this will do the job.

    Code:
    use [your_sims_database_name]

    select patch_id, date_applied, description from sims.db_update_log order by patch_id
If you want to look for a particular patch, you can try this:

    Code:
    use [your_sims_database_name]

    select patch_id, date_applied, description from sims.db_update_log
    where patch_id='patch_number_to_check_for'
    order by date_applied desc

This is what I run, which is essentially the same as jinn's
Shows them in order of being applied, most recent first.
    use simsselect * from sims.db_update_log
    order by update_log_id desc
