    Documentation not working after Spring 2013

    Has anyone else noticed if their documentation is working after the Spring 2013 update?

    Most people are getting 'Documentation file missing' - those who do get the documentation are getting the old stuff (i.e the 'Whats new' refers to Autumn 2012) so it looks like it hasn't been updated? Did the whole thing through solus3 so I would have expected that to be part of it.

    Similar - but my S:\Sims\Documentation folder is there, and the DocCentre pdf goes online and shows the latest as being Autumn 2012!

    Is there a way to drop the latest documentation into the local folder again?

    Edit: It looks like my doccentre.pdf is out of date - thats why it only pulls up the Autumn documentation!

    Maybe the manualssetup.exe didn't run on your station?
    There is an option to download the docs and store them locally on your server.
    Instructions should be in the release notes i think.

  5. Thanks to vikpaw from:

    I can't tell as the manualssetup.exe isn't on the server - since Solus3 did everything.

    We had this and am pretty sure it was resolved by ensuring that the sims.ini file in the c:\windows directory had lines like

    SimsDirectory=S:\Sims
    Sims Directory=S:\Sims

    If I recall correctly we added both

    I've made sure the SIMS.INI file is in the Windows folder with the right paths - and downloaded the offline help files. That seems to have sorted it although I would have thought solus3 upgraded the documentation as well.

    No matter - at least the users can now explore the new documentation!
