Limited locked down access for supply/student/temp teachers

    Hi there,

Is it possible to create a locked down user for SIMS that can only take registers? IE: only got access to SIMS lesson monitor.

If a teacher's off sick for, say, a day it'd be good to give the staff in our main office a user that they can give them to try temporarily.

Cheers in advance for any help offered.

You can use the Supply Teacher group, not sure what it allows but it will much less than the "class teacher" one.
You can clone it to form your own custom group and try removing the extra permissions if you want to be really strict.

Don't lock them down too much though. I'd prefer a good supply teacher who gives behaviour points then one who doesn't.

Hey thanks for the tips. I tried the supply teacher group earlier but it didn't seem to have access to Lesson Monitor... hm, might try making a custom group based on that and add lesson monitor access...

    Cheers!
