We're having severe problems here.
For whatever reason, Lesson Monitor 6, that our attendance team use to 'edit marks' for the whole school, is broken.
The new Lesson Monitor 7, available now from within SIMS .net main interface, includes an 'edit marks' feature.
However
When we run it, it seems to grab up to about 350Mb ram, pushing up the systems' page file requirements to about 750mb, on my machine with 1gb installed.
On the attendance machines with 512mb ram the PC slows down badly.
The ram usage seems to steadily increase as you use 'edit marks', and doesn't go down until you quit SIMS .net.
Anyone else experiencing this? Seems like a serious weakness. Does LM7 require a minimum of 1gb ram? It would appear so.

Well that does sound weird as our reception PC only has 512mb and works fine with LM7, as far as i know the min ram needed for SIMS .net is still 512mb. We did a problem with an update which made any marks being entered in 7 (even by the teacher with lesson register) spike to 100% CPU usage. It turned out to be a bad update.
Request to whoever supplies your SOLUS 2 patches to redploy your last update. Also check that it isn't also the virus scanner sending it into overdrive.

Still having problems here. Turned off Sophos/ stopped all services and results are exactly the same.
Loading Edit Marks or saving within it causes the CPU to hit 100% for 60 seconds and the pagefile to climb to 575mb and beyond, which just renders machines with 512Mb ram unusable.
Will talk to LA support about the possibility of re-installing the update.

Sounds like the best bet mark, we had this with a release last year and a reinnstal of the release should fix it, if not get them to send you the newly available september release
