    SOPHOS Exceptions for SIMS?

Never played with Sophos Enterprise Console but I need to add in exceptions for SIMS. I know I need to add the SIMS folder on the server but what else should I add?

Most of our schools in the LA use Sophos and as far as I'm aware, no exceptions have been set up for SIMS related data. I would assume that you would want the whole system monitored?

We put an exception in for the CSC as this used to cause problems when staff took laptops home,
nothing to do with SIMS but just FYI.

We also add exception for SQL database files so add do not scan *.ldf & *.mdf.

On the SIMS share, i would change the settings to on modify rather than the more common on read / on access if that's how you've set it up. Really speeds up load times for a folder that is hardly every modified anyway, especially the setups folder.
