    Generally not all hotfixes are always deployed properly through Windows update though, but not sure if that one is or not.

    At least it's not here, but it may have just be sitting waiting for authentication who knows!

    we are not using offline file sycn, when you say adding user home drives as trusted sites where do you mean for setting that?(sorry if being thick) I have the KB number for a word patch going to check my wsus server and local machines and if it not applied give it a try.

    In Word:

    File | Options | Trust Center | Trust Center Settings | Trusted Locations

    Tick "Allow trusted locations on my network (not recommended)" then "Add New Location". Pick the users home drive, tick "Subfolders of this location are also trusted" and OK.
