[FMS] can anyone advise on this issue...

For some reason this member of staff has had issues in SIMS and FMS, for a few months, we thought we had cracked it and it was due to the service term in SIMS. however as you can see from the screen shot certain things are not populating and we dont really have an FMS expert to call on due to sickness. We are happy that the SIMS side of things is ok, but any idea how to sort the 'salary paid' bit as its causing budget issues!

After importing a reconciliation file into FMS, the Salary Paid column within a staff members Salary Projection shows as 0.
Advice
This occurs if a Contract/Payroll Number is not present within the staff members contract.
This can be checked by accessing the staff members record in SIMS .net, opening up the contract (Relates to both open and closed contracts) and checking if the Contract/Payroll Number field has been populated. If this field has been left blank and the reconciliation file has been imported into FMS then unfortunately it cannot be resolved.

Focus | Personnel Links | Salary Projection | View Details
Advice
Payments have been made against different Cost Centres in different periods for the same Service Term.

To confirm this, select Focus | Personnel Links | Salary Projection.
Change the view to Name and select the member of staff affected.
Click the View Details button.
For each period, click the View Actuals button and check the entry in the Cost Centre column. This should match the default cost centre for the service term.

The default cost centre for the service term can be checked by clicking the Service Term Mapping button on the top right of the FMS window and selecting the appropriate Service term from the Service Term browse box.

im not sure if the school are signed up with them for support, (people off sick here at the moment) i give SIMS support but not FMS, if there is a patch needed surely out of the licence cost someone would deal with this?

Whoever supports SIMS should also support FMS. Who do you refer to if you can't fix a SIMS issue? LA or Capita. Just ask them and they may help or at least tell you where you do get support from.
