'check that the previous report is not still open' message
I cannot seem to run any reports (of my own or predesigned) because this message keeps appearing
'check that the previous report is not still open' message
i've tried d
deleting all the temporary report files
deleting all reports
downloading new templates
it still says it even when I've closed sims down and reopened it again.
I've always been able to run reports before, not sure what's changed!
very novice at using sims so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

this could occur if someone else has the report template open. but it shouldn't affect all reports.

I've been told to end these processes in task manager but they weren't actually running
pulsar.exe and winword.exe
any other things I should try?

If Word is having a fit, it can help to close down other applications that might be using it, such as Outlook.
Can you post the exact error message and if it has the option to show more detail.
Try a different user logged into the PC as well as a different SIMS user. Try a different machine. If possible try on the server.
Any variation in the results might help point the finger.
