Are you on about the UI? If so, I wouldn't it's a total ar5e to remove later on.

11th October 2012, 08:45 AM #3 Yes I do mean the UI. Oh right, the reason why I thought it would be useful as there is maintenance taking place on the server which has the solus agent. If it's a realy pain then I think I will save the agro.
Thanks

5th November 2012, 04:22 PM #5 I have the SOLUS3 UI installed on my machine and it's linked to the LA's SOLUS3 Server. Means I can authorise releases without having to connect up to the server itself.

Did you just point it to the existing database then instead of installing it on your machine?
James.

Yea I did. When installing the UI, I point in the details of the server.

Forgive me for being blunt but where can I find the installer for just the UI? Is it the agent installer, I didn't install Solus on our server and are new to the school?
Thanks for your help,

7th November 2012, 02:06 PM #9 No, it's not the agent installer. If you get on SupportNet and find Resource 19376, there is a link to the latest SOLUS3 installer (118) and the password from the archive.

Thanks for this Rawns, I really appreciate it. One more question, I have managed to installed the UI onto my station and I have inputted the SQL database which is on our server it seemed to accept it but when I launch the UI and go to Solus Agents I have the following error: 'Database Connection, An Error occured when retrieving data from the Solus database Error: Bad Data'. I have tried going into system settings and replicating the setting whcih are on the main server but it does not let me save etc, Any ideas?
Thanks.

Not sure on this one. At a guess, I'd check your SOLUS3 server is upgraded and running SOLUS3 v118 as well?
