    sims on a mac

we using an fully patched sp2 windows xp on parallels desktop on a macbook.

added to domain, installed office 2003, installed sims, sims works ok but lesson monitor complains about msinet.ocx being missing which is seems to be. where does this file come from?

I download this and comdlg32.ocx from a random website stuck them in system32, registered them. it gets as far as
synchronise "writing options to SQL server" but errors with requested operation could not be performed.

    Re: sims on a mac

    i've figured out the problem.
we've always, in the past installed sims using
    simsinst.exe and everything worked.

what i realise is the need to run simsinfrastructure setup beforehand nowadays.
