hi there lovely people!
sorry if this question is repeated somewhere in edugeek but I couldn't find any answers.
We just got 14 shinny Apple 21.5" and the minute I unboxed them I realised that I haven't order any means to secure them! I've got some security labels with our school post code to stick them at their backs, but how to you secure the macs to the desk? is there any special bracket or last-innovation-japanese tool that would do the trick?

As in Kingston Locks ? Should have the ability to use kingston locks to physically lock them to the desks

All of the iMac's in my school are secured with heavy duty steel desk clamps. I can't remember the make (I think it was INCO?), but both RM and KRCS sell them. We bought ours from KRCS. If you need any contact details just let me know.
Don'y buy a laptop lock. Get a desktop lock. This way you can loop the lock through the hole in the stand then wrap the lock around a table leg or something using a glued puck or the small metal bracket that comes with some of the locks. We have hundreds of computers here on site and I can't stand laptop locks. Laptop style locks can break easily if the computer gets moved.
we use heavy duty bike lock on them all with a fixing point on the wall
We use these Top Tec ones.
Unlike the RM ones listed above, they don't cover the hole in the stand, so you can still get cables through. They're not quite as discrete, though.

I wasn't really thinking in the Kensington locks, they are not match for bolt cutters and besides can be open easily as this video and similar proves:
Break the kensington lock
Kensington Locks are pointless. If the iMac lock is the same as the old mac mini design then all you have to do is twist the entire lock and the plastic around the lock widens allowing the lock to be removed any way. Only took seconds to remove it.
Didn't even need a loo roll either.
It's a design flaw with the mac mini really a not an(other) issue of the lock itself.
We;ve just brought a load of Apple iMac Secure Stands from inco-security.co.uk

Could you just not think simple here and drill 2 holes in the iMac stand and bolt it to the desk through them holes? I certainly don't see the point in spending good money on bolting them down when they have cost silly amounts of cash to start with, 2 holes carefully made and 2 bolts through the desk, you could put nice polished domed nuts on the top and it would look quite smart.
