Restrict who can log on
Hi guys :)
I've successfully bound our new iMacs to our Server 2008 domain, was quick and simple.
What I need to know is, is there anyway of setting the security so only users in certain groups can log onto the machine?
At the moment it seems to allow anybody with an account, I want to only allow people who belong to the "Editing" group (for example).
Hey Nick, i think the only way to do that would be to use a mac server :/. I am unaware of being able to do it without this (although other people may have done it) another way which would probably do it is buying software which is a plug in for your current active directory which allows you to administer the macs.
