Crashplan on Mac
Ok in the summer i brought the new Macbook Pro,
when trying to install crashplan it comes up and say that Java SE Runtime 6 enviroment needs to be installed, so i went on the the java website and installed the latest java which was 7, crashplan is still wanting 6 to be installed, when looking on javas website for 6 for mac it is saying that apple own and distribute their own version of 6, MacBook wont find the download anywhere it keeps telling me to try again later, this is at home where their is no proxys ect and also at work
Have you ran software updates on the mac? When you run a java based app it should alert you to software updates to download Java.
it alerts you then tells you it is unavalible
the most recent mountain lion update has fixed this problem
