Control IMAC with IPAD – Help?

    Hi All,
We have a suite of 30 Macs in our music room and a couple of Ipads. Our music teacher wants to be able to control his teacher MAC from his IPAD. We cannot use logmein123 or things like that, as they are blocked via the LA. I’m not an apple mac expert. I’ve had a look on this forum and on the appstore and cannot seem to find anything. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me something – Thanks

Other option something like teamviewer? Can set it up to work with local IP, not going through their servers for the teamviewer IDs etc

I use RemoterVNC to control all of my machines at home. It allows you to configure the connection and then save it. It is then a simple tap to connect. Also allows connection to Windows Servers. The paid for version allows for the following connection types:

    VNC/Screensharing
    VNC over SSH
    Telnet
    RDP
    RDP over SSH
    ARD
