MacBook Pro Fan. See if you can find it cheaper.

My younger brother who is a student is in urgent need of a repacement fan for his elderly MacBook Pro. I can get this one from eBay for 24.99, but surely there must be cheaper ones out there: MacBook Pro A1150 15.4" RIGHT Fan 922-7193 , 603-9554-A | eBay
So does anyone else know of a better i.e. cheaper place to buy one of these?

I doubt you will find any UK companies selling that fan cheaper than 25. The BookYard and VIS are both more expensive.

You could order it from this Chinese eBay seller for 15.74, but it will probably take more than 1 week to be delivered.

I was about to say you could probably use a generic Dell laptop one (many different shapes/sizes) from many a scrap laptop held on with a couple of screws less - then I saw the pointless cabling on it!

Well, I thought I'd ask. There are plenty of later model fans available for less, and I guess becuase it's a first generation Intel MacBook Pro that parts are getting thin on the ground.

Original post links to a right fan, not a left fan ( just thought id point that out ) as both links you have linked to are the left one , not the right one ?

Not that it helps any as price wise they are about the same

I wondered how long it would be before someone spotted that.
