MacBook Pro Fan. See if you can find it cheaper.

My younger brother who is a student is in urgent need of a repacement fan for his elderly MacBook Pro. I can get this one from eBay for £24.99, but surely there must be cheaper ones out there: MacBook Pro A1150 15.4" RIGHT Fan 922-7193 , 603-9554-A | eBay
So does anyone else know of a better i.e. cheaper place to buy one of these?

I doubt you will find any UK companies selling that fan cheaper than £25. The BookYard and VIS are both more expensive.

You could order it from this Chinese eBay seller for £15.74, but it will probably take more than 1 week to be delivered.

I was about to say you could probably use a generic Dell laptop one (many different shapes/sizes) from many a scrap laptop held on with a couple of screws less - then I saw the pointless cabling on it!

Well, I thought I'd ask. There are plenty of later model fans available for less, and I guess becuase it's a first generation Intel MacBook Pro that parts are getting thin on the ground.

Original post links to a right fan, not a left fan ( just thought id point that out ) as both links you have linked to are the left one , not the right one ?

Not that it helps any as price wise they are about the same

I wondered how long it would be before someone spotted that.
