Binding OSX10.7.3 to AD Subdomain
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone else has found a way to reliably bind to AD subdomains with Lion? I have managed to bind one client once but for reliability testing I unbound it and now it refuses to bind again. I can bind it to our top tier domain 100% of the time but this is no good as clients should not go on it. I've tried a few different ways but I get a variety of errors from authentication to problems with the plugin.
One idea I've had is manually setting search domains which may eliminate authentication problems but I do not know how to do this. Is there a way?
Thanks in advance for any help

Please ignore my request for help
I've had a brainwave and found that you have to use an account that is on the relevant domain for Binding Lion to AD. This may have been fixable by manually creating search paths but I'm ok now and hope this helps anyone else frying their brain
