Hi,
I'm trying to automount a volume at boot up using the 'fstab' which seems to be working with the following setup:
in auto_master:
/Network/Servers -fstab
then in fstab:
SERVERIP:/SHARE /Network/MOUNT url auto,url==afp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@SERVERIP/SHARE 0 0
At the moment I'm getting a volume mounted, that looks correct, but I have no access to it.
I would like any user that logs into the machine to have full access to this volume.
I have to admit I'm very green in this department! I've been playing around with some options I've found on the net:
rw,gid=12,exec
(GID 12 I'm guessing relates to the ID of which ever group you'd like to give access to, in this case 12 is 'Everyone')
Eventually I'm going to be using this mount point to redirect home folders to (specifically 'Music' and 'Pictures')
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
