Like mellow, our mapping was done slightly differently and I mapped drives using the students/staff group we have set up. Unless i'm missing something really obvious here (Possibly as i've just come back to work after having half-term off! ) my post at the very top of this page should cover it. Funny feeling i'm either being a bit thick or have misunderstood you though.
No, it was me that was being a bit thick got that working now, on to the next problem lol

yeah, i believe it is, something that is designed to be stored on the mac server, and which is probably why it automatically appends the group name to it

Right, nearly there now, I've had deploy studio setup for some time now, but due to other problems, haven't got round to setting up any work flows. I've created two

    1. Take image of OSX partition
    2. Restore image of OSX Partition.

I have added said computer i want to run the workflow 1. Take image of OSX partition on, but where in deploy studio to i apply 1. Take image of OSX partition to said machine and make it run??

    Hi Steve,

Not fully understanding what you are looking to do, is it take an image of the iMac via deploy studio?

if so shut down mac, power up holding down N key. when you see the globe on screen let go.

you should now be presented with the deploy studio work flow screen.

Not sure... I have only ever done it sitting in front of ours.n Maybe this document page 45 step 9 is talking along the lines of automation of image taking.
