    Should I upgrade 10.3 server to 10.4?

I'm going to recommened we get upgrades for our older iBooks to Tiger in the summer, which would put all our Macs on the same version

The only one on a different version would be the server - and is there any reason to change it? It runs fine, but Im going to be rebuilding it in the summer to try and get it integrated with AD so its probably best to upgrade then if its worth doing

Also does anyone have a rough idea how much 16 upgrades from Panther to Tiger would be for the iBooks?

10.4 AD integration is simply bad. 10.3 is awful.

You would be better off waiting until October when Leopard comes out. Wait a couple of months and upgrade them Autumn half term instead.

    Oh

Well Ive only really got summer to do it...
Because otherwise they'll have started the year and I will have had to create all new users on the server.
To then change the way they log in entirely halfway through the first term, would cause the Art department to moan profusely
