Mac, Share Point, Rich Text Editor

I have a small number of mac users at my school who insist on using their macs to update their web pages within our MS Share Point site. They were all fine until they discovered that their windows counterparts can use the in built rich text editor. So now they are a little miffed that they don't have the editor. Any ideas on how I overcome this?

I have seen a few ideas being punted on google but they all involve the users installing apps on their mac books, which as we all know is not a good idea to allow users to install apps on their own.

    Any help much appreciated.

I used to use smultron - there is version 3.5 from sourceforge or buying it from the app store, otherwise kompozer

You could possibly get them to use text edit, might need to tweak the options / prefs so that it saves it in the right format ie utf 8 or 16 etc ??

    KompoZer - Easy web authoring

Can you install Firefox with an IE plug in? Never tested it myself though.

Those IE plugins you can get for Firefox (and probably others) won't work on OS X as all they do is hook a copy of the version of IE already within Windows into a Firefox browser window, rather than carry the IE application itself.

    Hi Guys
The IE Tab is the first thing I tried. However, I will look at the smultron and kompozer solutions
