    Stickies

    Hi,
Just upgraded my daughters MACBook Pro with new HD and RAM. She said that she had everything she wanted backed up. We'v just realised that she hadn't copied/backed up her stickies which are important. I don't want to dismantle the MAC again and put the old HD back in as it has been apart too many times already. Does anyone know where the stickies are stored on a MAC running Leapard? If I can find this out I can put the ol;d disk in a caddy and extract the file.

    Cheers

The text and other characteristics of notes in the Stickies application are stored in a file named "StickiesDatabase" in the Library folder inside a user's Home directory

Something you could do it put the drive in a caddy. When you boot up the mac press the alt key. They boot from the hard drive. Then you will be in the old OS install then you can get your stickies
