    Student Permissions of file server

    Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me what security permissions they have set on the home directories for students?

The Reason i ask is that we seem to have issues when creating a live instrument in garage band an error pops up says "Drive/Partition username is full.

We have no issues on the PC side of things and it appears just to be garageband on the Macs.

    Many Thanks

You may not be able to fix it, I have similar issues with Logic Pro. Some parts do not correctly interpret ACLs (Windows or Apple AFP) when working with a network folder.

Apple will simply say that network folders are not supported.

Its weird because staff (home directories on another server) are fine. Ive checked all the permissions and are practically the same. It also works if the student user is moved to the staff server!
