    Apple 'abandon' Xserve

    Apple - Xserve - Resources

Oh dear... a mac pro really doesn't fit into a rack layout and no LoM by default - also you have a desktop GFX eating watts; wonder if they are going to allow virtual machines?

They've replaced with the "Mac pro server"
Mac Pro Server quietly introduced as Xserve heads for the grave, starts at $3,000 -- Engadget

A desktop sized unit with an ATi 5770 :x Not exactly server room friendly, they may just discontinue OSX server :S
