Hi
We've got another problem with the CS3 suite! (surprise surprise). When a student tries to open Premiere it takes forever loading the plugins, occasionally just crashing out all together.
Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it?
Students are logging on via active directory, Photoshop etc works fine.
Cheers
James

Has Premier suddenly started to run slower than before, or has it simply always run this slow? Have you reimaged the machine it's running on? Do users have redirected My Documents / Desktop / Documets and Settings folders - is Premier trying to load settings from a networked Documents and Settings, maybe?

Hi James,
As far as I know this is "normal" - we have the same issue at my college. The solution in the end was to simply create local accounts for people to use premier on. It doesnt seem to like network accounts, and of course being adobe nothing is supported in a networked situation.
Sorry!
