Just got a MAC off the shelf in the art room thought id have a play, but there is a password and i have no idea what it is. Is there a way I can crack a password on a mac?

If you have a mac OSX install disk, you can boot from that and choose password reset.
otherwise you'll have to boot to single user mode and use some unix commands

Just managed to do it, its crazy ive created a new admin account on the mac from command and im straight in I can delete the other accounts, What the point in it being that simple?

Because bios passwords aren't really even a speedbump unless you've got someone reliable who'll shout "Oi! Jenkins, get your mitts out of that computer".
