yep the mail app should handle exchange - This link gives the low down on make sure it works http://images.apple.com/macosx/excha...L_Exchange.pdf

The next version of mac office - office 2010, which is out by the end of the year, will do away with entourage, and actually have a mac version of outlook so exchange support will be greatly improved and will have the ribbon interface for office like on the 2007/2010 versions of pc office

you need to know what version of mac office 2008 it is, if you brought with retail packaging, yellow box = student and home, black box = business. Exchange support is business only.

Inbuilt mac mail app on snow leopard is exchange compatible

it came with our subscription pack i believe..

ive tried the built in mail app but not been successful so far, were running exchange 2003 and when setting up only 2007 and IMAP?

it seems to be dropping connection to the domain whenim trying to get this email up and running, safari is running fine before i try and then during and after it keeps prompting me for my usernme and password for the proxy but it rejects it everytime?

    grrrr
