    These eBay sellers reliable enough for the care? I suppose I should look at it myself. My phone is still under the original warranty so if I was to buy now, would I get the Apple Care on top of my current warranty?

    Edit: Ah, it extends it to 2 years.

    my silence button just broke on my 24 month old iphone 2G, although i blame my teething daughter for that 1! although found a place that repairs said problem for £29.99.

    (stuck in silent mode grrr)

    Can i ask of the place? As i currently have a 3G sat on my desk which looks like its been hit with a hammer - all broken glass!

    Apple will replace the screens for ~£80.
