    Mac antivirus

    Ok we are taking delivery of 10 Mac's and an xserver in the next week, Which anti virus would you recommend?

    The usual ones you should be familiar with? Sophos have a mac client as does MacAfee. Symantec are still doing one although its not that obvious from their website. The last time I looked into it you had to call them. To be honest I'm not a fan of Symantec's products.

    I've heard Avast and AVG are developing a client for the mac platform? Perhaps they're now available. Something you could Google for? ClamX is free to download. Intego provide AV software for the mac platform as well. They also do a Server version.

    I use Sophos since we have a license for it... I assume it's doing its job!

    unless you mean for when your using bootcamp or vmware fusion you have clam win in the voting list and that is for windows not for os x afaik.

    You're right but technically so is the poll as there is a port for OSX here: ClamXav

    They do call it ClamXav though but it is based on the ClamWin engine.

    Interestingly it looks like ClamWin even has a server console to control clients now but I don't know how far along it it.

    There are 2 anti virus for clam ( clam antivirus and clamwin ) so yes I did see

    Not that it matters
