Hi
We have an Intel Macbook with 2Gb of RAM, all application that are installed with CS3 work fine apart from photoshop. When you try to create a new file the blacnk canvas appears on the screen and shortly after its followed by the spinning ball of doom which doesnt dissaper no matter how long you leave it. the same happen if you open an existing peice of work. I have downloaded all the adobe updates and the Mac itself is fully upto date. I have also ran the verify permisiions and disk utility off the install disk. I have even tried resetting the PRAM by starting up the mac and pressing [apple]+[option]+[p]+[r]... all of which hasn't made a difference.
Has any one any other suggestions
Remove and reinstall I'm afraid - not had any such issues here with CS3 WebDesign Premium Edition nor CS4 Master Collection, running on either Intel-iMac or Intel-X-Serve
already tried that several times
Hi Millsy79
I've not seen this one, but I'd try deleting the photoshop preference files
Users/ [Username]/ Library/ Preferences/ Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings
Hope this helps
