    Boot Camp

So, someone gets Windows XP to run on the Intel Macs and wins the $14,000. Apple then gives everyone an official method to do it, say they're including it in the next version of the OS.

Amazing. Why didn't they do that in the first place?

    Re: Boot Camp

all you have to do is get an *intel* mac to run it on.

A friend (a windows user) just got a cheap mac second hand ... he wanted to have a Mac but run windows ... shame it was a 2 1/2 year old iBook.

    Re: Boot Camp

Previews are available now to Apple Developer Connection fully paid up members (and not the student accounts either) ... only costs $3k a year.

It is likely to be demoed in January, and released in May ... but that is pure rumour mongering and should not be taken as gospel.
