    Mac Pro Just ordered

    Just ordered my Mac Pro

    2 * quad core 2.8ghz
    2 gigs of ram
    320 gb hard drive
    nvidia 8800GT
Airport Extreme <-- forgot to add this in
    apple care
    wireless mighty mouse
    wireless keyboard

Rest of the config is the same ( except that I have a 10,000 RPM 74 gig raptor ) that I am going to use for the boot drive.

    Can't wait!!

Just wanted to know how to re direct the music folder to the 320 gig hard drive so that when I have my itunes it is on the 320 gig hard drive not the 74 gig raptor ?

19" VGA Acer tft - its ok but am dieing to get a 24" TFT - any suggestions ?

Need it to be 2ms, HDCP compatable or HDCP supported and have a high Resolution to support 1080i or 1080p or whatever it is so I can playback blu ray movies at high res.

Also forgot but I need an optical cable to go from the mac pro the my surround sound system ( that has an optical in input ) any suggestions on that from ebay as need a cheaper option then 20 quid )

Get a mac display to go with it. I would, if I could afford a Mac Pro.

I'm just a little jealous. But I'll make do with my 1.86Ghz Core 2 Duo with a knackered hard disk.

    not enough cash for ACD

dont have enough cash for an ACD and been saving like crazy for over a year and a half to get this.

Going to get a samsung, dell or liyama TFT ( not sure yet so any recommendations ) as per above would be welcomed.

Run multiple copys of server 2003 , gaming , movies ( High Def ) and I wanted to future proof myself hence why I went with the mac pro as apposed to the imac. I can easily get a web cam from logitech or someone of the like to get video working like they have on ichat so thats a non issue and seeing as I ordered a wireless keyboard and mouse I can use front row
