Mac will not log onto network

    Hi there
Got a mac network with 20 macs and a xserve But one of my macs will not let anyboby log onto it unless they are local admin! I can get to it through ARD but still can not log onto it with a normal network user any ideas?

Can you check to see if it has the correct time. Sometimes day light savings can be a bitch.

Can you take a look in the console logs to see if it brings up a error like 14002. It should be under system.

Other thing you can try is restart your mac server or rebind to the domain.

    Cant login

When you login as local admin can you ping the server or get on the internet?
Also check and make sure no one has messed with dns on that computer. Good Luck.

    bet its not

well, I would bet its not sorted, this is an ongoing problem for many people, the 'fix' might last a few days or weeks.
I've just put a whole load of stuff about this problem on another post.
