24th April 2008, 10:36 AM #1 New OD-AD integration paper. Hi all. I have just seen this on AFP548.
It is a new AD-OD paper that is quite simple to follow and is an interesting read. It differs from the previous one as it also goes through the AD side of things and contains a fair amount of screen shots as well.
It has also been updated for 10.5.
The file also includes a VBS script to import users from a CSV file and a .BAT file to configure DNS. Attached Files

Just followed the instructions, whic hhave worked fine upto the point where you set the client up, It adds open directory fine but I don't get an Active directory entry in the search path page.
3rd October 2008, 02:14 PM #8 The AD may not be enabled. Open Directory utility and go to Services. If this cannot be seen choose show advanced settings.
make sure that there is a tick in the enabled box.

It wasn't enabled, so I enabled it and removed and re added the open directory, but still no Active directory in the search path.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but when I download and extract the file, all I get is a single file called [Content]. Which I can't seem to open on a pc or a mac, any ideas?
