    Yes ... it is called RDC. Use the remote desktop client to connect to your server and you don't need anything installed on the local machine.

    If you don't have M$ Office for Mac then you can download the client at www.microsoft.com/mac

    Works really well too!

    I use it at home when testing my OSX Server and getting it to play well with my 2003 test server. It's nice being able to sit at the OSX Server and configure the AD Server from the same place :-)

    ICA client is available for Mac too - plus of course the obligatory VNC.

    I did give the remote connection a try but did not like connecting to my machine

    here are a few things to try ... connect via the IP address, not the hostname.

    Lower your screen res.

    Can you connect ok from an XP client using mstsc.exe? (terminal services client)

    I have to hold my hand up and admit to swearing profusely at a box refusing to allow me to connect ... then I realised I hadn't actually enabled remote access for administration.
